Obama, the Chosen One

Barack Hussein Obama's electoral victory was your defeat. What exactly did you hope to win? Oh yeah, "CHANGE", but will things really change? As for me, I predict Barack Obama will fail miserably because his economic and foreign policies are built upon the same vaporous foundation of fantasy as his predecessors'. They all have relied on government to act correctly and responsibly, which is something it has NEVER done. The only change to come, if one can call it that, is that Barack Obama will increase the size and scope of the same government policies that created the mess in the first place. If government isn't interfering with our society, then what is the purpose of the 70,000+ laws and regulations it passes every year? Think about it!

On domestic policy he is planning to spend a trillion dollars that no one has. Virtually everyone in the U.S. and the parasitic government are broke, which begs the question, "From whence will the money come?" Obama has three choices: 1) raise taxes on people who are already broke, 2) borrow even though we are already extremely over-extended on our capacity to pay off debt, or 3) print more money, which will devalue the dollar and induce rampant inflation. All these options to raise the trillion(s) will cause even more damage. Solution: GET OUT OF THE WAY! We as free individuals have a great capacity to overcome obstacles, but when Barack Obama implements his "plan", he will only stimulate more and higher government barriers to our success.

If Barack Obama desired real change, then he would arrest the current unitary executive for his outright violations of virtually every clause of the Constitutional and its Amendments, which every president is sworn to uphold and protect. Of course, he won't prosecute because he is as guilty as his predecessor. While in the Senate, he voted for all of Bush's illegal acts. For example, the FISA bill (which illegally gave the government the privilege to spy on us), the Military Commission's Act, No Child Left Behind Act, etc. Another reason why he won't prosecute is that the current "plan" he is proposing is clearly totally UNCONSTITUTIONAL. Therefore, if he were to prosecute Bush, it would make it impossible to carry out his own agenda. Other things on his wish list are to 1) create 3 million useless, parasitic government jobs, 2) draft/force young people to do volunteer work (hmmm... forced volunteerism is in reality SLAVERY!), and 3) ban guns in violation of the 2nd Amendment. With this last aspect of his plan, he has unintentionally stimulated gun sales. Indeed, gun and ammunition sales are the only retail sector that's showing robust growth in these tough economic times. And to those who think government should have a monopoly on weapons: Government has been the most violent and murderous organization ever conceived, and you want it to protect you? We NEED guns to protect ourselves FROM government.

On foreign policy Barack Obama wants to expand the war in Iraq by invading Iran. He has already stated that he wants to send more of your loved ones to Afghanistan in order to invade Pakistan under the disguise of ending the phony war on terror. Lastly, he desires to give more aid (money we don't have) to the rest of the world. He will continue to send aid to both Isreal, Palestine, Egypt and Africa so they can continue to buy weapons from us in order to keep killing each other. It is a backdoor welfare scheme for the merchants of death because these places buy their weapons from U.S. weapons manufacturers. Conflicts have always been good business for our government and its dependent corporations, and Obama has no incentive to end it. These actions are beyond reckless and tyrannical.

To end, I see no "Change" in Barack Obama's plans from his predecessors. Obama's campaign rhetoric will prove to be a pack of lies. The only change we can expect from Barack Obama is the ever increasing size and scope of government, less prosperity and opportunity, and more conflict. A free people with property rights do not need to rely on someone else's plan to solve their problems. Those that do "need" planners, on the other hand, deserve what is planned for them. Here is what one man had to say about men who let him plan to solve their problems: "It is a good thing for leaders that men don't think." - Adolf Hitler. I hope I'm wrong, but history is against me.
