The Effects of Inflation

"Arbeit Mach Frei" (Work Will Make You Free)

"Arbeit mach frei", was the engraved motto at the entrances to the Nazi labor camps in World War II, where the the prisoners were worked to death. Simillarily, our very own government is turning the United States into a large labor camp - through the use of inflation. Yes, inflation will work us to death.

Inflation is an evil creation of government and tyrants. It is the best taskmaster tyrants and governments have ever invented. It is silent, relentless, heartless, invisisble, and everywhere. It affects everyone without exception. It taxes our labor by stealing our wealth with each new IOU (Federal Reserve Note, i.e. paper "money") the government prints.

Silently and invisibly our wealth is stolen and squandered by an out-of-control government that finds it much easier to print than to tax. Even with our money under lock and key in our homes, inflation will make us poorer and poorer even as we work harder and harder. In the end inflation will take everything for the benefit of its' creator - the government - and leave you and me penniless, landless and as slaves. Perhaps we should use "Inflation Will Make Us Free" in place of "Arbiet Mach Frei" as the government turns our nation into one giant labor camp where we are worked to death while the bureaucratic government overlords take all the benefits from our labor.

Mouse on a Wheel: Inflation Trap

We are like a mouse on a wheel enticed by cheese. No matter how hard and fast the mouse works, the wheel will not allow the mouse to taste the cheese. The only way for the mouse to get to the prize is to get off the the wheel. Likewise, it is only by getting off the wheel that we will have a chance to enjoy the fruits of our labor. The wheel I speak of is fiat currency, which is created and spent by the whims of government. Fiat currency is the only cause of inflation. The only way to get off the wheel is to put your fiat dollars into "real things" such as silver, gold, oil and land. By owning real things your will protect your wealth, enjoy the fruits of your labor, and provide for and protect your family.
